Caernarfon - 13 miles, half an hours drive
Situated on the Menai Strait Carnarfon is an historical town famous of course for its well preserved castle built by Edward I.

Beaumaris, Anglesey - 13 miles, half an hours drive
This is a lovely seaside town, home to the first Blue Peter Lifeboat and with individual shops and galleries, an ice cream parlour and great places to eat. Dont miss a visit to Beaumaris gaol and courtroom or the castle.

Beddgelert - 14 miles, 25 minute drive
A pretty little town with the legend of Gelert - take a stroll to visit the grave

Betws y Coed - 17 miles, half an hours drive
A bustling town full of walkers and outdoor clothing shops!

Conwy - 22 miles, 32 minutes drive
Conwy is a World Heritage Site with a castle and well preserved walls that enclose the town centre. With narrow cobbled streets and many old buildings it is a great place to explore. There are many interesting buildings to visit as well as the castle and don't miss a walk around the old walls.

Llandudno - 27 miles, 40 minutes drive
A large Victorian sea side town with a charming atmosphere. Lots of shops, a multi screen cinema, theatre (Venue Cymru), a pier, two beaches and a natural headland, the Great Orme. It has links with Lewis Carroll - follow the Alice Trail to find out more and is rich in Welsh history.
