Places to visit in and around Llanberis

Snowdon Mountain Railway

COVID-19 restrictions

Until further notice the trains will travel ¾ distance on Wales and England’s highest peak to Clogwyn Station.

Bookings to commence from 14th May 2021.

The summit building and cafe will remain closed until further notice.

Ascend to 3,560 ft, the summit of Snowdon with ease and take in the stunning views (weather permitting of course!) in relative comfort. Book tickets in advance as it can get very busy.

It can get cold towards the top even in the train in summer, so make sure you take warm clothing including hat and gloves just in case.

Electric Mountain

Sadly, currently closed to visitors due to major refurbishment in the power station.

Llyn Padarn Llanberis Lake Railway

Sadly closed until further notice due to Covid-19.

This is a narrow guage steam train that takes you for a delightful five mile ride along the shore of Lake Padarn. It takes about an hour.
